Zippity Doo Da

I can sleep in tomorrow… I can sleep in tomorrow.,,, The pups (mostly Stella) got me up several times over the course of my short supposed 5 hour “nap” between shifts last night/this morning. Some of it was to go outside and some of it was because she heard things.

I don’t know what is going to go on with the weather. Everyone has been going on about 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) inches of snow today and tonight. Yet checking my “The Weather Channel” app it says we get nothing. Not even an inch in 2 days. So who is right?

Archie has been sleeping in my lap as I write this. Stella has yet to get up. I will have to put her breakfast in the fridge if she doesn’t get up before I leave for work. She has been extra cuddly with me lately.

I have been writing since I was about six years old. I love it! I enjoy drawing word pictures and getting people to think in different ways. I have not done much other than my personal journal over the past few years because both fear and betrayal have locked my writing box up tight. I seem to have lost the key. So this is me trying to pick the lock. I also love the interaction with my readers. There are so many diverse voices out there! Talking with others helps me work through my own problems and (I hope) helps others with theirs. I learn much about other cultures around the world that I might not otherwise know. Writing is how I connect with the world.

  3. Your pictures are gorgeous – especially the one of the moon through the branches. Seeing the one of Archie or Stella upside down made me chuckle, they are so cute. That’s probably how they get away with getting you up all night. I’m so sorry you are being woken and hope you get the sleep you need really soon xx

    1. Thank you! It’s not just the cuteness. They give a lot and really don’t ask for much. I just try to remind myself of that. And I love the little brats, lol. Big hugs from all of us! xx
