Stella is curled up beneath a blanket beside me. Jack Frost and Winter do not seem to want to let us go this year. We have about a 1/4 inch of snow again. It looks like we will drive down with snow and come back with rain.
I am excited to be going. I have the sessions I want to attend all highlighted. My satchel is packed and ready to go. I even remembered to print out the first page of my novel incase I get picked to read mine, (Although I am torn between two spots to start my novel.) Pen and paper as well as my journal are with me. I was hoping to have some writing time between sessions but my friend will probably want to talk. But we’ll see.
Chris is already snoring. I hope he gets some good sleep. He’s doing my schedule of late working 6 days. It will also be a long day for Stella as he is going in earlier than normal.
The clock tells me I need to get this posted so I can get ready to go. I’ll let you know how the mini road trip goes! Thanks for reading and stay safe!
