Early Morning Musings

Here I sit in the dark with a dreaming Pitty in my lap. I hear the husband gently boring in the bedroom behind me. I am jealous of their sleep but grateful for my quiet time. I am surprised that Stella is out here with me. This early she will go back to bed with Chris.

I have set an alarm for tonight so I remember to go to my meeting. I am tired enough that I might forget. I woke up when Chris hit home around 3:30am and mentally worked on my novel when I couldn’t fall back asleep. I got some key facts for one of my characters. So I am very happy about that.

I think today will go well because I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just gotta get through today. The meeting should be relatively quick. There are a few things on the agenda that might drag things out but….
