This morning finds me sitting in the dark on the edge of the love seat. I’m on the edge because Stella is curled up behind me. Covered with a blanket. Essie is upset but she stayed out here. She is on the couch. We all agree that it is way too early.
I got even less sleep than I planned because a friend (really we are back to acquaintance after the agreement etc) caught me on Messenger. We chatted for a bit. I was doing two loads of laundry so after I finished with him I found The Hound of the Baskervilles with none other than Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing from 1959! Sweeeeeet! I got about 30-45 minutes into that before I had to call it. I was able to throw the last load into the dryer and head to bed.
Work has been interesting since we now have new computers. We got them Tuesday. Big learning curve for both the customers and us. It is easier and more efficient in some ways but in others overly complex. But it has gotten rid of most of our complaints about the old system.
I just have to get through today… I have tomorrow off and I plan on sleeping in. The temps have dropped again. We woke to a frost covered landscape. I am happy to say the most of the snow in our yard is gone. Yay!
