Well November definitely started with a bang. We got our first serious snow and lost power for a few hours. Our internet connection is wonky so I’m doing this on my phone instead of the laptop. That way I can post the blog from work if I need to.
Essie has spent pretty much the whole time in the master bathroom. That seems to be everyone’s safe place. Moose and Stella didn’t seem to mind much. After a few minutes of cuddling they fell back asleep. When the power came back on though scared the hell out of all of us. I don’t know if work lost power or not. So work could be very interesting tonight!
It is still very windy and very cold so it is possible we may lose power again. I’m glad I was able to take a shower before work though. I need to get some writing done for my NaNoWriMo project before work as well. So this will be a short one. I have tomorrow off so that will be nice. I’ll see how much I can get done. If I can get ahead in my word count if I fall short or something happens that I can’t write I’ll have that cushion.
