Rolling into the Weekend

All things considered yesterday was a success.  It was a long day but good.  Mom had a good birthday dinner with us and I was able to give her one of my aloe “babies” (all of my aloe babies are huge, I just seem to have a knack for growing them) as well as some books.  Once everyone got back home after dinner we were all pooped but happy.

I binge watched the rest of American Horror Story: 1984 last night.  I personally think it was one of the best yet.  Of all of them I never did finish the political one.  I tried.  I really did.  But it was not interesting to me.  That being said I have a soft spot for slasher flicks and I grew up in the 80s so I really got a lot out of the season.  And they did a really good job with the plot twists.  All in all a really fun season!  I guess a lot of people didn’t like the season.  Ah well!  Can’t please everyone!

Today I need to buckle down and write.  I did mostly reading yesterday at work.  And they were books I’d not read before so that is a good think.  However I need to work on the novel as well as other small projects.  I did a bit on Goodreads the other day so I am happy with that.  I should try to atleast rate some books on Amazon.  I can always go back and write reviews later.  So that is the plan for today.

I was awake at 7am but I made myself stay in bed until 7:30am hoping I’d fall back asleep (we went to bed around midnight).  No joy.  Wide awake.  I am interested to see how we will deal with the time change this weekend.  Either I will need my alarm or I will be cracking my eyes every few minutes to check the clock.

Ok, I need to regroup and get myself gong for the day.  Thanks for reading!  I hope you have a great day!
