Our First Snow Dumping

This is going to be another short one.  We got about 6 inches of snow dumped on us last night so everything is in chaos.  The garage still is not done.  They were out for about two hours and put most of the main door up.  That is all they did.

On the drive to the meeting last night I almost turned around a few times due to whiteout conditions but I made it.  I still need to write my article and turn it in.  I over slept.  Everything had cleared by the time I came home.  Problem was when they plowed they left the ice exposed with nothing on it.  So that actually is worse than the snow.  I saw a car in a ditch and stopped to see if they needed help.  Everyone was ok.  They were waiting for a tow truck.  I told them about the storm warning (which they did not know about) so they planned to just turn around and go back home.

The lot probably isn’t plowed so getting in and out will be interesting.  I hope no one is coming to get vehicles today.  The roads are really bad.  I don’t know what they are down state but I don’t think those semis would do well up here today.  Not with nothing plowed nor the ice taken care of.

I’m going to stop here.  I need to give myself enough time to get the car cleaned off and get to work.  I hope everyone has a great day!  Thanks for reading!
