Puttering In the Gardens

The dogs keep rotating who is sleeping where this morning.   Sadly we have the furnace running this morning as well.  I didn’t do much of anything yesterday.  I read a lot.  I did play with the kids but well I took a day for me.

I pulled out more books to read.  I finished Agatha Christie’s Nemisis and pulled out Stephen King’s Skeleton Crew and On Writing.  Oh and Alexander’s Tomb by Nicholas J. Saunders (this is hostory and archaeology about Alexander the Great).  Naturally all three are hardbacks so more weight when I haul them around to and from work.  Oh well.  I find this time of year I need to start reading horror (if I’m not already).  I will probably start blowing through books again.  I always seem to once it starts getting colder.  Not much more to do outside so I read.

I did putter around the gardens for a little.  I pulled all my plants in last night because of the temperature drop.  I don’t know if I will put them back out once I get home or not.  I’m not setting them out for a few hours just to bring them back in that night.

I am pretty proud that my plants are continually blooming this year.  I need to find some other containers so I can dig up my tomato and cucumber plants to bring them in.   I need pretty big pots for each so I will need to be on the look out.  I did take some current pics of the plants.  I have more peppers coming in!

I need to get ready for work.  I hope everyone has a great day!
