Sleepy Rain

Have you  ever had a morning where you felt like you were in slow motion and time was speeding up?  That is me this morning.  Or where you try to speed up but everything seems to go even slower?  Me.  It has been raining overnight and it is still coming down pretty good.  One of those days you can just sleep in and bum around the house doing nothing.

I had to shoo the kids out to go potty after breakfast.  I don’t blame them.  I wouldn’t want to go outside in the rain to go to the bathroom.  I’m crabby when my toilet seat is cold.

I dug out a few writing books last night that I had forgotten I’d had.  I started reading one of them (well more like a reread but it has been many years).  Wild Mind Living the Writer’s Life by Natalie Goldberg.  I also pulled out Writing Tools by Roy Peter Clark and Thinking Write by Kelly L. Stone.  I might take them with to work.  I will probably be busy this morning but this afternoon should be relatively clear.  That will depend on if I have anything to do in the lot.  I have four cars going out this morning out of… 14 maybe?  So we’ll see.

I slept well last night.  Getting up was difficult mostly because I didn’t want to.  Rain will do that.  Looking at the clock one of the drivers should be there already.  He wants to get his stuff and get back.  Well that if fine.  I’m not coming in at 7:30am because that is when you chose to get there.  I am scheduled at 8am and that is when I will start.  I won’t be rushed either.  I have my routine so that I know what I have going for the whole day.  I’m not floundering because I didn’t know this or that was scheduled to happen.

Speaking of schedules I need to get going.  I tried to read some blogs but I didn’t get to many.  I will read more when I get home.  I hope you have a great day!  Thanks for reading!
