A Pouty Pitbull and Other Wordy Problems

I have no coffee.  What I do have is a pouty Pitbull.  Her brother and sister have taken up the whole of the love seat so there is no room for her.  She had a spot but decided to get down.  Now she is half sitting on her brother and falling asleep looking at me to fix it.  I gave her a spot next to me in some fluffy blankets but apparently that is not what she wants.  And I am supposed to fix it.  She is willing to lay down atleast on their super sized dog bed (it’s actually a short bed demo model) since I put my blanket down for her to curl up in.

It’s pouring outside.  Has been for a few hours.  So no garage again today.  Yesterday was supposed to be cement.  I got a call that he would be out today, depending on weather.  Well it’s supposed to rain all week.  “Oh it’ll go up quick once we get going!”  But getting them going proves to be the hard part.  Meanwhile thousands of dollars worth of materials has been sitting out in the elements for a few weeks.

I notice I am staying up later and later at night.  Last night was 1am (but really 2am real time).  I’m not sure why.  I did get my word count in yesterday so that helped.  I have all these emails coming about places to send queries and submit my writing to but there are so many I don’t want to take the time to read all of them.  But of course I can’t get rid of them because I may need one of them…

I have no idea where my story is going in NaNoWriMo.  I was so disappointed… hell I hated it.  I didn’t know what to do with the characters to fit the title.  I was overthinking the whole thing and I hated it.  So I shot one character and gave the other a Colombian neck tie.  That was very satisfying!  But I am still left with no story and only one character.  So that will be today’s goal.  To try to figure out what is going on with the story.  I will have to use some of my time to go thru my writing books to look for ideas and suggestions.  It is safer than going online and risk getting sucked in to the vortex.

So I guess I’d better hop to it and get my word count going!  Oh I see someone has wedged her way beside her sister…
